Semester One: How to Become an Electrician
This is the introductory class to the process of becoming an electrician. This course duration is 10 weeks in a hybrid format. Lecture and theory is delivered in a virtual classroom on zoom.com one night a week on Monday nights. This performance based program is designed to give students real world experience through classroom projects that are “in the field” on active working jobsites {E.g. real time service calls troubleshooting electrical problems in homes and local business. We are partnered with over 200 employing contractors and companies that give us access to jobsites that range from new construction commercial josites, new construction residential homes. We will repair lighting circuits, receptacles, kitchen appliance circuits etc.
